Meet the team

Yogesh Tated

FOUNDER

Yogesh founded Kalon Financial, leveraging a wealth of expertise in financial services and wealth management. His extensive knowledge spans investment management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape.

Yogesh holds a degree in Finance & Accounting and has further enhanced his expertise by obtaining the [relevant certifications, e.g., DipFA] qualification. He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Prior to founding Kalon, Yogesh held an executive position focused on financial service products, collaborating closely with Imran Bhatty and Shahzad Malik for over 20 years. Together, they have embarked on a shared journey, enriching lives and shaping brighter futures through their collective expertise.

With a visionary mindset and a commitment to excellence, Yogesh is poised to lead Kalon into a new era of financial empowerment and growth.

Outside of work, Yogesh is dedicated to charitable causes and is the founder of the Kalon Foundation.

Imran Bhatty

JOINT SALES DIRECTOR - PROTECTION

Imran is part of Kalon since the foundation along with Yogesh and Shahzad and brings us more than 15 years of experience within Financial Services. He is a leading Joint Sales Director along with Shahzad Malik for Kalon and dedicates himself on building strong relationships with Clients.

Throughout his career his focus has been to foster trust, understanding and deliver outcomes that truly make a difference to people’s lives. As a Joint Sales Director, Imran believes in leading by example, inspiring the team to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and client centricity.

Shahzad Malik

JOINT SALES DIRECTOR - PROTECTION

Shahzad is part of Kalon since the foundation along with Imran and Yogesh and brings us more than 17 years’ experience in the financial services sector including a wide range of general management positions with regional responsibilities.

Shahzad began his career as a Protection Adviser and over the years he has gained knowledge and expertise through various leadership roles which has empowered him to leverage his expertise to propel our protection business to new heights of success. As Joint Sales Director, Shahzad’s role at Kalon is to oversee the Protection Business along with Imran. He leads a dedicated team of sales managers who deliver an exceptional service to our valued clients.

Amir Moallemi

DIRECTOR

Amir is an accountant with over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. With a strong background in financial analysis, tax, and compliance, he has built a reputation for delivering accurate and timely financial insights that drive strategic decision-making in a clear and concise manner.

Amir holds a degree in Accounting and finance and is a member of the ICAEW, ACCA and AIA. His career has spanned various roles, from managing a wide range of businesses providing advice on growth and development.

At Kalon, Amir plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuing overall growth of the company. He is also Managing Director of Kalon Accountancy.

Jemma Montgomery

CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER, FINANCIAL SERVICES

As Chief Legal Officer at Kalon Financial, Jemma brings extensive executive leadership and operational expertise to the financial services industry. Known for her strategic vision and deep industry insight, Jemma plays a pivotal role in aligning Kalon’s operational objectives with its long-term growth strategy, optimising systems, and enhancing client value.

Before joining Kalon, Jemma practiced as a Solicitor. With over a decade of legal experience and a strong background in team leadership, she brings valuable legal acumen along with recent experience in streamlining business operations and enhancing efficiency.
